33 new and updated Aadhaar cards were issued at a camp held in Peeran

 A special Aadhaar service camp was organized at the Gram Panchayat office in Peeran, courtesy of the Lok Mitra Kendra, Thund, to create and update Aadhaar cards for schoolchildren. Aadhaar-related services were provided to students of the Government Senior Secondary School, Peeran.
During the camp, Aadhaar cards were updated for 30 students, while three new Aadhaar cards were created. This initiative saved students and their parents from having to travel far for Aadhaar-related work.
School Principal Rakesh Verma expressed his gratitude to Deepak Thakur, Director of Lok Mitra Kendra Thund, and his team, saying that such camps are extremely useful for the people of rural areas. He urged them to organize similar camps in the future.
Deepak Thakur, director of Lok Mitra Kendra, said that as per the government’s instructions, it is mandatory to get the biometric update of Aadhar card done when the children complete the age of 5 years and 15 years, which is done free of cost at all Lok Mitra Kendras.
He said that a new Aadhaar card of any child or youth up to the age of 18 years can be made at any Lok Mitra Kendra, whereas permission of the concerned higher authorities is required for making a new Aadhaar card of persons above 18 years of age.
Deepak Thakur appealed to all the parents to get their children’s Aadhar cards made on time and get them updated at the prescribed age, so that there is no inconvenience in availing the benefits of government schemes and other services in the future.
