New Sims-Nailla-Gwaila Road to Ease Travel for Devotees and Boost Connectivity
Better Access to Maa Simsa Temple and Nageshwar Mahadev Kudd
The Sims-Nailla-Gwaila link road, built at a cost of ₹4.25 crore under NABARD, is nearing completion, bringing relief to devotees and locals alike. This newly constructed road will serve as an alternative route for pilgrims visiting Maa Simsa Temple, while also making it easier to reach Nageshwar Mahadev Kudd. Additionally, the project benefits residents of Sims Gram Panchayat and Gwaila village in Ladbharol Gram Panchayat, improving local infrastructure and accessibility.
With this road in place, the distance between Sims and Ladbharol has been reduced, offering a smoother travel experience for both pilgrims and residents.
Improved Connectivity Between Key Religious Sites
Stretching 3.25 kilometers, this NABARD-funded road has successfully linked two major religious landmarks in the Ladbharol region of Joginder Nagar sub-division—Santaan Daatri Maa Sharda Simsa and Nageshwar Mahadev Kudd—while also cutting down travel time.
Moreover, residents of Sims Gram Panchayat now have an alternative route to reach the Ladbharol tehsil headquarters, saving 2-3 kilometers of travel distance.
Smoother Traffic Flow During Navratri & Breathtaking Views
The completion of this road brings all-weather connectivity to Nailla, a hamlet under Sims Panchayat, and makes commuting between Sims and Gwaila easier than ever.
The biggest advantage of this new road will be seen during Navratri, as thousands of devotees flock to Maa Simsa Temple. The additional route will help reduce congestion, ensuring a hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
Apart from improving connectivity, the road also offers stunning natural views. Travelers will get to enjoy:
- The scenic landscapes of Sandhol, Harsipattan, Jaisinghpur, Chadiyar, and Dharampur.
- A mesmerizing view of the snow-covered Dhauladhar mountain range.
- A clear sight of sacred locations like Baba Kamlahia (Dharampur) and Maa Ashapuri (Kangra district).
