MLA thanks CM Sukhu for approving key development projects in Shimla

MLA Shimla Harish Janartha expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for approving an 890-meter long double-lane tunnel from Navbahar Petrol Pump to Medical College Shimla on Circular Road to be constructed to cost Rs. 295 crore.

He stated that this tunnel would significantly ease the growing traffic issues in Shimla city, benefiting both the locals and the tourists. He said that this was the first meeting on developmental issues regarding Shimla after the Lok Sabha elections which highlight the Chief Minister’s commitment to expediting the development of the city.

Shri Janartha also thanked the Chief Minister for the decision to replace overhead wires in Shimla city with underground ducts for electrical cables and optical fibers, with an investment of Rs. 23 crore by the state government.
