Mercury sizzles at 36.5 degrees at Una

Mercury sizzled to 36.5 degrees at Una of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday the Met office said. The maximum temperature is soaring high in the state and it was two to three degrees above normal. The maximum temperature of Una was 36.5  highest of this season.

 This Capital town witnessed a sudden surge in tourists as Mercury was increasing in the plain. Shimla is 22.9 degrees and 2.6 above normal, Bhuntar airport is 30.6, and Kalpa in Kinnuar is 20.6 (four degrees above normal).

 Abode of Tibetan leader Dalai Lama Dharamshala 28, Nahan 30.9 Keylong 15.3, Solan 29 Manali 23, Bilaspur and Kangra 32, Mandi 32.9, Hamirpur 32.8,  Chamba 31.7, Dalhousie 19.5 Airport Jubberhatti 26.2, Tourist resort Kufri 17 and Narakanda 17.6 degrees.

The Met Office forecast mainly dry weather in the next 24 hrs in the state.
