Mashobra School wins district level Under-19 Kabaddi competition

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mashobra, performed brilliantly and brought laurels to the school by securing first place for the second consecutive time in the district-level Under-19 Kabaddi Competition organized by the Creative Foundation at SPM School, Sanjauli. This competition is held every year, in which teams from various schools in the district participate.
The prize distribution ceremony for the competition was held at the Gaiety Theatre, Shimla. Shimla Municipal Corporation Mayor Surendra Chauhan, as the chief guest, honored the winning team by presenting them with prizes.
Upon arrival at the school, Principal Banwari Lal Keshav welcomed and honored the winning athletes, congratulating them on their remarkable achievement. He said that the school family is proud of the students’ success and that it will inspire other students to excel in sports.
School Deputy Commissioner Mohan Lal Sharma and team coach Nand Lal Sharma also congratulated the players on their achievement and wished them even better performances in the future. Meanwhile, SMC President Umashankar Verma extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the winning players and the entire team.
