Light tremor jolts parts of Kangra district

A Light tremor measured 2.50 jolted part of Kangra  14 km North from district headquarter, Dharmshala in Himachal Pradesh this morning, the Indian Meterogical Department confirmed.
Spokesperson of Shimla Met Office said that earthquake was felt at 0550hrs on Wednesday in part of Kangra district.
 The magnitude of Earthquake was 2.50 on the Richter scale and epicenter was located at 32.34 degrees North , 76.30 degrees East and five km depth at Bre-Jangal  about 14 km away from Dharmshala and 161 km from State capital Shimla.
Earthquake was slightly felt by the people but did not cause any loss to life and property.
