Law and order has collapsed in Himachal Pradesh: Jairam
Shimla, former state president of BJP, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur while addressing a press conference said that Congress has lost in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and has won 61 out of 68 seats. The entire strength of the Congress government is only focused on saving the chair, apart from this the Chief Minister is not doing anything. He said that the Chief Minister says a day before that no one from my family will contest the election and two days later his wife gets the ticket, I have also been the Chief Minister, I know that this selection is not possible without the approval of the Chief Minister and especially in the Congress party.
How has the condition of the state become under the present government? In 17 months, more than 300 rapes and more than 150 murders have been reported. The law and order situation in Himachal Pradesh has been shattered. Now, incidents like those heard in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have started happening in Himachal Pradesh. In the judicial complex, hired goons fire bullets at a person who gets injured. The one who brought them is none other than the son of the former MLA of Bilaspur Sadar who has not been caught yet. They have got full protection of the government and the proof of this is that the former MLA has not been arrested yet and his son has been given the freedom to hide. Every child in Bilaspur is saying that the business of chitta is going on under their protection. In this era of chitta, no priority is being given to stop it, that is because the people of this government are running this business. The Chief Minister is fully aware of this but still he is not doing anything. The BJP has decided that it will take the serious issue of law and order to the people.
In response to a question from journalists, Jairam said that the Speaker of the Assembly has no authority to cancel the membership of 9 BJP MLAs when only these members had raised slogans against the government. The current Speaker of the Assembly has violated all the rules and regulations. The Speaker of the Assembly has become a mere puppet of the Chief Minister, no one knows what posts the Chief Minister has lured him with.
The speaker has no control over his language, he says that 6 MLAs have been beheaded and 3 are under the saw, who are fluttering. This language is unfortunate. This incident is a stain on the performance of the speaker’s ability, the speaker is impartial.
He said that the present Congress Government is not going to save us, it is not because of us but Congress is in danger from its own MLAs. It seems that Congress leaders are scared of the outcome of the CPS case.
