IGMC Sr MS tenders seek resignation likely to plunge electrol battle

Senior Medical Suprintendent of Indira Gandhi Medical college Dr Janak Raj has tender sought resiginstion from his post submiting a notice to Principal secretary health.  The Neorosurgery professor was elevated as Sr MS of IGMC by Jai Ram Thakur Government in 2018 replacing Dr Ramesh from the post. Dr Raj  has given a three month notice to the Principal Secratery Government of Himachal Pradesh copy of which was with us.

“Now , due to domestic circumstances and my personal obligations , it has become difficult for me to continue with the present assignments of the Government service and hence this Notice for resigning from the same”, notice mentions.  “In view of this , it is humbly requested that the application of mine , may kindly be treated as ” Three Month Notice ‘ for resigning from the post of Professor ( Neurosurgery ) as well from the post of Senior Medical Superintendent , IGMC,” stated Dr Janakraj.

Pertinent to mention that meaning of this resignation or prior notice may be political considerations. Dr Raj has been claiming for ticket to the Vidhan Sabha from Bharmour constituency. He attended a Chief minister function at Chamba guest house recently. It is worthwhile to mention that Dr Raj have keen interest in public life. He tested positive for Corona Virus during pandemic but he served efficiently despite several weakness in the state health system. Dr Raj is not lone Doctor who plunged into Poltical battle but there are two others doctors who have been taken similar course earlier and some more asparaint. Now it depends upon the state if it spare Dr Raj for public life however his services to his profession is not less important as neurosurgery much desired health services to reduce the casualty by offering readily treatment to accident victims most of them being killed in heamrage cases.
