Congress candidate Kamlesh Thakur is doing hectic election campaigning and directly communicating with the people in the hills. The rural people of Dehra assembly constituency are liking her desi style a lot. On Saturday, Kamlesh while addressing street meetings in Bhatoli Fakorian, Bangoli, Chhabar, Jhaklehad, Bongta, Bada and Badun said that for me all my maternal homes are equal. People of Dehra, please vote for development. I don’t have any business, I live among the people and do no work. By giving me shagun (gift) and by voting for me, I will solve all your problems.

He said that I am talking to the Chief Minister daily about the problems of Dehra. The former independent MLA here has not paid any attention to development. People in every area are reporting a lot of problems. Roads are broken, people are not getting water supply. There is a big problem of electricity due to low voltage. There are no bridges in many places. People of Changar area have not seen any development till date. Being the caretaker of Dehra, I will develop every area equally. I have not come here to do politics, I have to solve the problems of the people and bring about development.

Kamlesh said that the exile of development in Dehra will end on July 13. The former MLA kept doing politics for his own selfish interests. Hoshiar Singh has betrayed the people. The public is now asking him why he resigned in just 14 months when he was elected for 5 years.

The former independent MLA is unable to answer why he resigned. The people of Dehra are aware and will vote for development. I request everyone to vote as much as possible so that my head can be held high in my in-laws’ house and the entire state. The people of Dehra should be my strength, I assure you that I will be your voice on every platform. The people of Dehra will never feel cheated, as they are feeling today. The face of Dehra will be changed in the next six months.
