Himachal govt cut state VAT on Petrol and Diesel

On the lines of the central government, Himachal Pradesh government has also decided to further reduce VAT on petrol and diesel.
Himachal Pradesh Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur who also hold the portfolio of finance said on his Twitter page that his govt also decided to cut down the prices of Diesel and petrol today.
He said that now Petrol would be available cheaper by Rs 12 and Diesel by Rs 17 per liter in the state.
 Surely this decision of the government will bring a lot of relief to the people of the state, he said.
