Hoshiar Singh should tell where he invested the MLA fund received for the development of Dehra: Chandra Kumar
Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Choudhary Chandra Kumar has posed sharp questions to the former independent MLA Hoshiyaar Singh. He has asked the former MLA where he spent the MLA fund received for the development of Dehra. The public wants to know whether the money was spent on the construction of a hotel or a resort. Because due to lack of development in the Dehra assembly constituency, many questions are being raised. The situation is bad all around, seeing which the public is making various speculations. The former independent MLA has received more than six crore rupees as MLA fund in six and a half years, Hoshiyaar Singh should tell where that money was spent.
The Agriculture Minister said that there is chaos everywhere in Dehra Assembly constituency. The MLA kept getting his own work done for six and a half years, got hotels, resorts and other works done. He did not take any interest in public works and development works. People are still yearning for drinking water. The condition of roads is bad. People are struggling with the problem of electricity, even bulbs do not light due to low voltage. Roads have not reached many villages. Why is the bridge connecting Guler and Nandpur still hanging in the air? How many times did Independent MLA Hoshiyaar Singh raise his voice for these problems. He resigned from the post of MLA and sat on a dharna outside the assembly to get it approved, it would have been better if he had sat on a dharna to solve the problems of Dehra. But no, because he is not concerned with the problems of the public. He is in politics to increase his business and wealth.
He said that Hoshiyaar pushed Dehra into the abyss in six and a half years. It is important for the public to get an account of where the MLA fund was spent. After assuming power, the Congress government has worked to bring Dehra on the international map. Bankhandi Zoological Park will make Dehra assembly constituency famous in the country, state and the entire world. There will be an international level jungle safari in this zoological park. Like foreign countries, many types of facilities and means of tourism will be available in the safari. By making Dehra an SP district, our government has proved that Congress does what it says. We have given the office of SE PWD to Dehra. Apart from this, many works have been done. The problems of electricity, water, roads and bridges will be solved soon.
Chandra Kumar said that the public re-elected the independent MLA thinking that he would solve their problems, but the former independent MLA started trying to topple the government. He ignored the problems of the people in 14 months and kept busy making political gains. When the public had elected him for 5 years, then why is he leaving the MLA post after 14 months and contesting the MLA election again?
