Himachal’s budget is initially disappointing : Bindal

BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the capital expenditure of our government i.e. in the financial year 2023-24 was Rs 6780 crore. The capital expenditure has been reduced to Rs 6280 crore in the financial year 2024-25. In this way, cutting the budget for infrastructure development raises questions on the intentions and understanding of the government.

He said that Himachal’s budget is initially disappointing.

MP and former state president Suresh Kashyap said that the government has given a fake report of the economic survey. The way disaster struck the state. Sectors like agriculture and horticulture suffered huge economic losses. The performance of industries was not as per expectations. In such a situation, the economic growth of the state as stated by the government is beyond comprehension. Similarly, the figures ranging from per capita income to gross domestic product of the state are also not acceptable.
