Himachal Pradesh Board Announces Revised Exam Schedule for 2025
The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has updated the timetable for the 2025 annual exams for Classes 10 and 12. This change affects regular students, state open school students, and those taking compartment, category improvement, and additional subject exams.
For Class 10 students, exams will run from March 4 to March 24, while Class 12 exams will be held from March 4 to March 29. All exams will take place in the morning from 8:45 am to 12 noon. Students will receive their question papers and answer sheets at 8:45 am, with 15 minutes given to read the questions and check their answer sheets. The exam will officially start at 9 am.
Board Secretary Dr. Major Vishal Sharma stated that question papers for core subjects like English, Mathematics, Hindi, Social Science, Science and Technology, and Sanskrit will come in three versions: A, B, and C. For students with special needs, question papers for Mathematics, Social Science, and Science and Technology will be available in an E-series. Students must write the series code from their question paper in bold letters in the designated block on the first page of their answer sheet.
Practical exams for both regular and state open school students will be held from February 20 to February 28, organized by their respective schools.
