Himachal Govt Reshuffles Key Officers

The Himachal Pradesh government has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 17 officers, including eight IAS, one IFS, and eight HPAS officers.

Sandeep Kumar has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Kangra, while Duni Chand Rana will now serve as Managing Director of HPMC, with additional charge of Agro Industries and Agro Industries Packaging. Ram Kumar Gautam takes over as Managing Director of the Agriculture Marketing Board, and Kumud Singh has been posted as Director, Civil Supplies.

Vinay Singh will lead the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank as its Managing Director. Manish Kumar and Akshay Sood have been named Settlement Officers for Shimla and Kangra divisions, respectively.

Among other changes, IFS officer Pushpendra Rana has been appointed Director of Environment, Science and Technology, with added responsibilities in Disaster Management and as Member Secretary of the State Council of Science, Technology and Environment.

This reshuffle marks a fresh chapter in the state’s administrative setup, with new responsibilities aimed at strengthening governance and service delivery.
