A school-level general knowledge competition sponsored by SJVN Limited was organized at Government Senior Secondary School Mehli on Tuesday, 25 April 2024, in which Principal Poonam Kapoor participated as the chief guest and teachers Asha Thakur, Krishna Rana, Sandhya Kainthala, Ankush Thakur, Indu Sharma, Vandana Sharma, Bhagwati Sharma, Radha Chauhan, Sheetla, Anjana Bhardwaj, Narvada were present.
Class 12 student Kashish got the first position in the competition, while the second and third positions were bagged by Ankita Chauhan of class 12 and Sanjana of class 11, respectively. In this, the students of class XI and XII took part as participants while other non-participating students of the school were also rewarded for giving correct answers. The first, second, third and fourth place participants were awarded with mementos and gift prizes.
Principal Poonam Kapoor said that SJVN is a leading public sector organization in the energy sector, which is playing a significant role in energy production in renewable energy sectors along with hydropower and earning name at national and international level. Apart from this, SJVN is also playing a remarkable role in the development of the school.
