Geeta Kapur, Director of Personnel Inaugurates the Fourth DRISHTI Conclave

Turning the brilliant idea of Visionary Leader, Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN, into reality, DRISHTI conclaves have been designed to communicate the Shared Vision of becoming a 50000 MW company by 2040 to all the employees and to intensify their efforts to achieve this vision.

Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director (Personnel), SJVN inaugurated the Fourth Conclave that is being organized under the DRISHTI initiative at Kufri, Shimla in the August presence of Sh. Akhileshwar Singh, Director (Finance), SJVN. On this occasion, senior officers along with nominated officials were also present. With this conclave, every SJVNite now has gone through this training program.

While addressing the conclave, Smt. Geeta Kapur said that the DRISHTI is formulated in a manner that every SJVNite can inculcate the spirit of attaining our Shared Vision in actions & thoughts. This will encourage the SJVNites to work in absolute harmony to achieve the vision of becoming a 25000 MW company by 2030 & 50000 MW Company by 2040. The initiative also intends to inspire the workforce for upcoming challenges and opportunities while taking the company to newer pinnacles of success.

Smt. Kapur further said that these programs and conclaves under DRISHTI are the perfect fusion of learning and innovation for reaching our shared vision. Under this Initiative, 30 training programs have already been organized, and this is the 4th Conclave in the series.

Smt. Geeta Kapur added that SJVN is marching ahead with the perseverance and tireless efforts of SJVNites. Currently, SJVN has a project portfolio of 54,327 MW, with 2,091 MW under operation, while the rest is in various stages of development.

Such training programs serve as an excellent competency-building platform wherein employees come together and deliberate, assess, and address new challenges & opportunities that might come in attaining the Shared vision. She further added that this awareness helps them to enhance their capabilities & fosters team spirit amongst them.

During the Conclave, a Motivation Session was also organized for delegates by Sh. Anurag Rishi inspired them to work arduously in sync with the vision of Team SJVN and harness their unrealized potential. Sh. Anurag Rishi is regarded as one of India’s Best Motivational Speakers. He has motivated millions of people through his enlightening speeches, Workshops, and Motivational seminars.
