Every family should pledge to plant 5 saplings and protect them: Rathore
All India Congress Committee spokesperson and MLA from Theog Kuldeep Rathore participated in the tree plantation program in Theog. During this, he planted a deodar tree. He said that the forest festival has begun. We are all seeing the results of changes in the environment. Last year, the rain broke records and caused a lot of destruction. This year, there is very little rainfall. The reason for this is that forests are being cut and new forests are not being planted. He said that he will take this program to the Panchayat in his constituency. Everyone will be included in this campaign. Panchayat people and school children will also be included in this so that it can be handed over as a legacy to the coming generations. He said that this year the forests have burnt, the environment has been damaged. Only when the environment is safe, we will be able to get clean air and water. He said that there is a movement going on all over the world to save the environment. Rathore said that more and more people have to be included in the campaign to plant forests. He has discussed this in detail with the DFO. Rathore said that it will be ensured that the trees planted are also protected. This will happen only when all of us take responsibility for it. Rathore said that every family should pledge to plant at least 5 trees. He has been involved in this campaign since he was the president of NSUI.
