Congress party will achieve big victory in elections: Pathania

Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said here today that in the coming elections, the voters of Himachal Pradesh will give a befitting reply to the politics of horse-trading. He said that the BJP conspired to topple an elected government through money power, which is unfortunate. He said that the public will never forgive the BJP for its misdeed of tarnishing the culture of Himachal Pradesh. He said that the Congress party would win with huge votes in the by-elections being held on all four Lok Sabha seats and 6 assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh.

Kewal Singh Pathania said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has reached the position of Chief Minister after coming from a common family through hard work, which is why he is well aware of the public problems. Under his leadership, the present state government prepared many schemes for public welfare and implemented them. After taking oath as Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu went straight to Balika Ashram and understanding their problems, started Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana for orphan children. He said that for the first time in the history of the country, the present state government made a law for orphan children and adopted them as Children of the State.

The Deputy Chief Whip said that after coming to power, the Congress Party has created history by fulfilling the promise made to the women of the state of providing a pension of Rs 1500 per month. He said that BJP leaders are repeatedly going to the Election Commission and trying to stop the pension, but despite the opposition of the BJP, the present state government will provide a pension of Rs 1500 to the women of the state in any case. He said that Rs 3000 will be deposited in the accounts of women in June.

Kewal Singh Pathania said that BJP does politics of lies whereas the agenda of Congress party is development. He said that BJP formed the government at the Center on the basis of lies and misled the people of the country for 10 years. Therefore, instead of talking about development in the elections, BJP leaders are trying to divide the country on the basis of religion and caste. But the people of the country are no longer going to fall into the trap of BJP and will die only after showing it a way out of power.
