B.Ed classes will start from the new session in Degree College Koti : Aniruddh Singh

The annual function was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Government College Chail Koti. On this occasion, about one hundred students who participated actively in academic, sports, NSS and cultural activities in the last two years were honored. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister, Anirudh Singh, as the chief guest, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and the girl students of the college presented Saraswati Vandana.
While wishing the students a happy annual function, he said that from the new academic session, integrated B.Ed. classes will be started in this degree college, which will provide the children of the area the facility to do B.Ed. at their doorstep. He said that this degree college came into existence in the year 2014 and today this college is proving to be a boon for the children of rural background in getting higher education. He appealed to the children to set their goals and work hard, only then they can get success in life. He also advised the children to stay away from addiction.
The minister announced sanctioning of water purifier, music system and projector for the college. Apart from this, he ordered PWD to prepare estimate for leveling the playground, basketball court and fencing.
The minister also distributed prizes to the children on this occasion.
Earlier, Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj welcomed the chief guest and presented the annual report of the college.
Kasupanti Congress Mandal President Ramkrishna Shandil, Councilor Narendra Thakur, BDC Chairperson Chandrakanta, Assistant Engineer PWD Devesh Thakur, local head Ramesh Sharma, former head Baldev Puri, Atar Singh Thakur along with college teachers and non-teaching staff were present in the program. The children made the program attractive by presenting a colorful cultural program on this occasion.

Sunakshi, Akshat Sharma, Anamika and Ishita were awarded the title of Best Volunteer for doing the best volunteer work in the college. Among the students who got excellent positions in the academic session of the year 2022-23, Puran Chand and Sevak Ram of BA first year, Rishika and Priyanka of BA second year, Arju and Rakhi of BA third year, Chandrashekhar, Kamal Kishore, Rajesh, Krishna, Rambhaj Ramesh of BCom were awarded. Similarly, in the academic session of the year 2023-24, Santram and Aanchal of BA first year, Ajna and Harshita of BA second year, Bhup Ram and Priyanka of BA third year, Naresh of BCom first year, Chandra Shekhar of second year and Nehal and Aanchal of third year were awarded. While Priyanka, Neha, Meera, Ritika, Shruti, Shivani, Himanshu were awarded for their active participation in cultural activities and Atul, Saurav, Simran, Bhavana, Sakshi, Ritika, Mahak and Rohit were awarded for participating in Pariksha and Youth Festival and Pariksha, Seniya, Pratima, Ankush, Akshit, Gaurav, Devendra, Dhruv, Nikhil, Tanuj, Rohit, Aman, Roshan and Mayank were awarded for their excellent work in sports and Lokesh, Ranjana, Sheetal, Ashish, Harshita and Sachin were awarded for their excellent work in NSS. Aayushi, Akshay, Sachin and Namrata who worked as editors in the college magazine and CSCA officials Tammana, Akshay, Sakshi, Simran, Priyanka, Nehal, Anjana and Anchal were also awarded.
