As per CMIE report unemployment rate of Himachal has reached top 6 : AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party has once again targeted the government on the rising unemployment rate in Himachal Pradesh. The Aam Aadmi Party has directly taken on the BJP directly for the rising unemployment in the state. Party’s state spokesperson Gaurav Sharma has blamed Jairam Sarkar for this. The party spokesperson said that due to the failure of the BJP government, Himachal has today joined the top 6 states in the country in the unemployment rate. Attacking the government, he said that ever since the Jai Ram government was formed in Himachal, about 2100 posts in various government departments have been abolished. Apart from this, instead of filling the vacant posts in the departments, the state government is eliminating them by putting them in the dying cadre. During the last few years, the government has abolished 2068 posts in various departments, boards and corporations. Most of the posts that have been filled, employees are being hired on outsourced-partial and daily wage basis. That is, these posts are also being benefited by giving jobs to their loved ones, apart from giving jobs to these employees. There is a lot of exploitation going on. He said that the abolition of posts in the government sector can be gauged from the fact that till 1990 there were more than 42 thousand field staff in the Electricity Board alone. Now their number has come down to about 17 thousand. He said that recruitments on hundreds of posts were taken out four years ago, that too has not been completed. The recruitment process which was started in 2018, 2019 and 2020, their process is also hanging till today. Due to this, discontent among the youth is increasing and the unemployment rate is increasing. More than 10 lakh unemployed are registered in employment offices across the state, who are wandering for employment.
The State Spokesperson said that the concern of the unemployed in the State is justified as the unemployment rate in the State is worrying. According to the latest data from the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), Himachal’s unemployment rate has been recorded at 12.1% in March 2022, compared to 7.6% of the country. In this way, Himachal has become one of the top 6 states of the country with high unemployment. Only 5 states have higher unemployment rate than Himachal, 26.7% in Haryana, 14.5% in Jharkhand, 25% in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan and 14.1% in Tripura.

The State Spokesperson said that Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections are due after a few months and unemployment is going to be the biggest issue in these. Unemployed youth of the state have started besieging BJP MLAs from now on. A few days ago, a BJP MLA in Mandi was questioned by some unemployed people regarding employment during the program, and the MLA had to run away from the stage. Instead of replying to the youth, BJP MLA Inder Singh was seen raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Whose video has gone viral on social media, don’t know how many such videos will be viral in the coming days because not only the youth of Himachal but also the general public, being unhappy with the policies of BJP, wants to ask him questions today. But today BJP leaders are afraid to reply and can’t say anything except jumlas and lies. In the assembly elections, when the BJP leaders will go among the youth seeking votes, they will have to answer the questions of educated youth regarding employment, because the young generation is spending lakhs of rupees for higher and vocational education during inflationary times. But the youth of the state are not getting employment. Due to this the number of educated educated unemployed is increasing in the state.

After all, why has the Jai Ram government become so insensitive, the AAP spokesperson said. Apart from corruption, which has been working for the benefit of his loved ones. The government, which cheats the unemployed, will have to face it in the coming elections. The youth now has only one option, Aam Aadmi Party, which will provide employment opportunities to the youth. Because Aam Aadmi Party has done this in Delhi. Which has given to more than 12 lakh youth in five years. And there is a plan to give 20 lakhs in the coming days. Which will open the doors of employment in Himachal also if the Aam Aadmi Party government is formed.
