All Parties, Citizens Must Stay Vigilant Against Vote Theft: Pratibha
All India Congress Working Committee member, former MP and former state Congress president Pratibha Singh has said that all political parties as well as every citizen of the country will have to be vigilant against vote theft in the country. She has said that it is very unfortunate that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, despite the disagreement of two Election Commissioners, took a single decision in the name of SIR and by making changes in Form 6, deprived more than 13 crore voters of the country of their voting rights. She has said that Gyanesh Kumar has openly undermined not only the functioning of the Election Commission but also the Constitution and democracy of the country, for which the country can no longer accept him in this post.
In a statement today, Pratibha Singh called on the people of the state to participate enthusiastically in the Save the Country, Save the Vote, Save India alliance’s mega rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on November 1. She said this mega rally will prove to be a mass movement against the BJP.
