All India Peace and Solidarity Organization along with Left parties condemn attacks being carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip on Palestinians

Under the leadership of All India Peace and Solidarity Organization, dozens of organizations in Shimla city demonstrated strongly outside the DC Office Shimla against the attacks being carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip of Palestine. AIPSO has strongly condemned the negative attitude of the Indian Government towards the Israeli attacks and the ceasefire resolution brought in by the United Nations. AIPSO calls for an immediate end to Israel’s inhumane war actions. In this performance Omkar Shad, Kuldeep Tanwar, Sanjay Chauhan, Vijendra Mehra, Falma Chauhan, Jagat Ram, Mufti Mohammad Shafi Qasmi, Maulana Mumtaz Ahmed Qasmi, Tari Irshad, Ghazala Anwar, Jagmohan Thakur, Satyavan Pundir, Ram Singh, Balak Ram, Vijay Kaushal, Amit Thakur, Himmi, Ramakant Mishra, Raman Tharta, Upendra, Santosh, Ankush, Kamal etc. participated.

Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, Vijendra Mehra, Falma Chauhan, Mufti Mohammad Shafi Qasmi, Maulana Mumtaz Ahmed Qasmi, and Tari Irshad have said that a total of nine thousand people have lost their lives in the last 26 days due to the barbaric attacks on Palestine by Israel. In which there are about five thousand children and elderly people. Thousands of people were injured in these attacks, one-third of which were children. On October 17, a rocket attack on a hospital in Gaza killed more than 500 people. Israel has imposed a severe blockade in Gaza and has cut off supplies of the Palestinian people’s basic needs for survival. This is against the rules of war. Along with air strikes, Israel has started a ground war. Israel has cut off water, electricity, food, and other humanitarian aid to many areas of the Gaza Strip, causing severe shortages of basic needs in many parts of Gaza.

Israel has rejected the UN ceasefire proposal and has descended into dictatorship. He is also ignoring the rules of war. The role of the Modi government in the resolution brought by the United Nations regarding ceasefire and expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people is extremely shameful and negative. This is contrary to India’s independent foreign policy and is an anti-people and anti-national step towards the Indian government becoming a junior partner of America and Israel. Israel’s right-wing Netanyahu government is openly occupying Palestinian lands and building Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Palestinian families are being forcefully evicted from Jerusalem. The Gaza Strip, where more than 23 lakh Palestinians live, has been severely blockaded by Israel for the last 16 years. Whenever there is resistance to this blockade by the Palestinian people, there is aerial bombardment.

AIPSO believes that the United Nations should ensure that the Palestinian people get their legitimate rights to their homeland and remove all Israeli settlements and illegal occupation of Palestinian land. Along with this, the implementation of the United Nations Security Council’s proposal for a two-nation-based solution should be ensured. According to the United Nations resolution, independent Palestine should be implemented with East Jerusalem as its capital. AIPSO urges the international community, including the United Nations and the Government of India, to ensure that this conflict stops and take steps to implement the UN resolution.
