AIIMS Bilaspur and IIIT Una sign MoU for frugal Healthcare Innovation
In a significant step towards transforming healthcare, AIIMS Bilaspur and IIIT Una have joined hands to drive frugal healthcare innovation. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of AIIMS Bilaspur’s Executive Director, Prof. (Dr.) Vir Singh Negi, and IIIT Una’s Director, Prof. Manish Gaur. This collaboration aims to develop indigenous medical devices, enhance forensic studies, ensure food quality, and advance data-driven preventive healthcare solutions.
Key figures at the event included AIIMS faculty members such as Prof. Anupam Parashar, Prof. Rupali Parlewar, Prof. Nidhi Puri, Prof. Dinesh Verma, Prof. Sanjay Vikrant, and Lt. Col. M. Hariharan, alongside IIIT Una’s Dr. Naveen Cheggoju and Shri RK Verma.
The initiative seeks to make healthcare more affordable and accessible by integrating cutting-edge technologies and fostering research-driven solutions.
