SJVN , LIC and UCO Bank awarded first prize in the annual award distribution ceremony of NARAKAS

SJVN Director Personnel Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma said that we should make efforts to ensure maximum use of Hindi at the highest level in all the offices of the Government of India. He said that along with power generation, SJVN is also promoting the official language Hindi as much as possible. -It is determined to propagate the message and 18 meetings have been organized so far by the City Official Language Implementation Committee ( Office-2) , Shimla since its formation. Along with this, the in-house magazine Him Samvad is being continuously published and Narakas Official Language is being published. In the form of a shield, all the offices of the Government of India are being encouraged to do more and more work in Hindi. He also informed that more than 300 employees participated in the competitions organized in SJVN during the year 2024 in the celebration of Hindi fortnight Is .

He said this today as the chief guest at the annual official language award distribution ceremony and half-yearly meeting of the Municipal Official Language Implementation Committee Shimla (Office-2).

In the program, the chief guest Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma also presented the NARAKAS Rajbhasha Shield to the member offices in three different categories for the best Rajbhasha performance. In this, the first shield in the public sector undertaking category was given to SJVN Limited , Life Insurance Corporation of India and banks in the category of financial institutions. In the category of was given to UCO Bank. Similarly, the second shield was given to Food Corporation of India , Employees Provident Fund Organization and Punjab National Bank. In the third shield, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited , Union Bank of India was given. Apart from this, incentive awards were also given. Were also given.

During the program, Shri Ajay Kumar Sharma , Director (Personnel) , SJVN released the third issue of the official language magazine ” Him Samvad ” . The purpose of publishing the magazine is to promote creativity and creative interest of the member offices as well as to promote the creative potential of the members. The aim is to promote the official language Hindi. SJVN Limited fulfilled the entire responsibility of publishing this magazine.

In the program Shri Kumar Pal Sharma , Deputy Director (Implementation), Official Language Department , Ministry of Home Affairs , Government of India , SJVN and officers of Central Government offices , undertakings , banks and financial institutions were also present. Earlier, child artists of ‘ Sur Sadhna Sangeet Kala Kendra ‘ The program was started by doing Saraswati Vandana.

It is noteworthy that NARAKAS (Office-2) , Shimla was formed in the year 2014 under the chairmanship of SJVN Limited and at present the number of its member offices is 46. Its two meetings are held every year and this was the 19th meeting. This committee Ensures the execution of the Official Language Policy of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in the member institutions.
