After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian government has taken strict action against Pakistan: Kashyap

BJP MP Suresh Kashyap said that the entire country is saddened by the brutality with which terrorists killed innocent citizens in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. The entire country stands with all the affected families in their grief.

He said that the Central Government is also making continuous efforts to ensure that the family members who are currently undergoing treatment get well soon. In the terrorist attack, someone lost their son, someone lost their brother, someone lost their spouse. Some of them spoke Bengali, some Kannada, some Marathi, Oriya, Gujarati and some were from Bihar. Today, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, our grief is the same on the death of all of them. Our anger is the same. This attack has not only happened on unarmed tourists, the enemies of the country have dared to attack the soul of India.

Kashyap said that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in clear words that “The terrorists who carried out this attack and the conspirators will get a punishment bigger than their imagination and these people will surely get the punishment. Now the time has come to destroy the remaining land of the terrorists.” Modi had said that these people would not have even thought of it. We will give such a punishment.

Kashyap had said that India is not sleeping and ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party government has come to power at the centre, India has been giving a befitting reply to terrorism and will continue to do so. The way the Modi government has taken five big decisions against Pakistan makes it clear that India’s stand is strong against Pakistan and terrorism.

He said that after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government has taken a tough step against Pakistan. After the CCS (Cabinet Committee on Security) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has announced to stop the Indus Water Treaty. Along with this, a decision has also been taken to order Pakistani citizens to leave the country by April 27, cancel visas and close the Attari border.
