Adani Cement warned by Himachal Government for Plant shutdown

Second biggest cement industry Adani Cement which has shutdown at Darlaghat situated in Ambujaja and Bharmana based ACC cement plants about 17 days ago without informing the Himachal Pradesh Government was warned today by latter to mend its way’s as state registered political transformation.
Himachal Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri who was replying thanks motion to Governor address at Tapovan in state assembly bluntly warned the Adani cement that the rule has changed in the state, it must change its approach with transformation of Government from BJP to Congress. Responding to the discussion on the Governor’s address on the last day of the winter session of the 14th Vidhan Sabha, he said that the interests of the transporters would be protected. Earlier, the ruling and opposition parties clashed many times regarding cement plants embargo by the Corporate house posing shortage of cement and creating trouble to Livelihood of thousands of transporter and ancillary services and over the denotified of Institutions by Congress government in the House. The BJP termed Governor Rajinder Vishavnath Arhlekar’s address as directionless. On the other hand, the MLAs of the ruling party continued to defend their government. BJP MLA Randhir Sharma cordoned new Cong rule on the closure of two cement factories. He said that due to the closure of cement factories in two districts, 30,000 people, including employees, driver conductors, petrol pump operators, tire puncture dealers, have become unemployed. Since 25 days, the government is not able to find any solution on this. Four lane works have been stopped. Government will work in the interest of the state. Starting the discussion on the Governor’s address, Congress MLA Sanjay Ratna said that the Congress government would do whatever to be necessary in the interest of the state. He defended the government’s decision to denotify around 900 institutions. He asked what was the need that the government opened such a large number of institutions in the Election and last year of BJP government. Former speaker and BJP Legislator Vipin Singh Parmar expressed strong objection to the denotification of institutions which had opened during the tenure of the previous government. He said that BJP would raise this issue in the house and on the road. Expressing surprise over the closure of the 70-year-old police post opened in 1952 at Dahar in Sundernagar by the government and advised the officers to give correct information to the government. Dharampur Cong MLA Chandrashekhar raised repent corruption in Horticulture Mission and Jal Jeevan Mission by a former minister and sought to open probe to recover the siphoned Government funds. He also demanded an inquiry into about operation of vehicles in the Jal Shakti Department during the Corona period. Congress MLA Vikramaditya Vikramaditya Singh said that the opposition should appreciate the decision being taken by the Sukhu government in the interest of the state by removing political spectacles. The Governor’s address has been prepared by the same officers who were posted on important posts in the previous BJP government. That’s why BJP should not doubt the intelligence of the officials. He said that out of the loan of more than 70 thousand crores on the state, the loan of more than 25 thousand crore rupees has been taken only by the former Jairam Thakur government. Congress MLA Jagat Singh Negi said that the former government opened 900 institutions however nine of members of council of ministers were martyred as they defeated by people despite so much sprees of opening so many Institutions. He hoped that new government would open all these institutions with full justification after making provision of manpower and financial provision in the state budget. He hoped that while returning the honor of the MLAs, the government would also return their insignia to them. He said that the opposition tried to stop the swearing-in, of new elected MLA . MLA Indra Dutt Lakhanpal said that BJP MLAs are still not realizing that they have really sat in the opposition. The MLAs of the opposition who are giving suggestions here, if they had given these suggestions to Jairam Thakur, he would not have been in the opposition. He accused the former government of organizing programs of the BJP with government expenditure in the name of Amrit Mahotsav. He said that the government will take cognizance of the purchase of pipes worth 2300 crores, in which there is a possibility of a big scam. Hansraj objected to the closure of the office, BJP MLA Dr. Hansraj strongly objected to the closure of the Divisional Office of the Electricity Board in his constituency and said that what was wrong if justice was done to Churah for the first time in 75 years of independence by opening this office. He demanded the government to give special importance to the aspirational district Chamba so that this district can also be made equal to other districts in terms of development. Congress MLA Kewal Singh Pathania accused the former BJP government of doing injustice to the youth and unemployed of the state by the previous government. He said that the previous government has been playing with the future of the youth.
