A Walk Down Memory Lane: NIT Hamirpur 2001 Batch Alumni Reunite for a Special Celebration

NIT Hamirpur turned into a hub of nostalgia and celebration as it hosted its much-awaited Alumni Meet–2026 along with the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the 2001 batch on June 5–6. The campus came alive as more than 100 alumni from across India and different parts of the world returned to where their journeys once began.

For many, it wasn’t just a visit—it was a homecoming. Old friendships were rekindled, classrooms revisited, and countless memories relived. The event created a warm space where alumni could reconnect not only with each other but also with faculty members and the institution that shaped their careers.

The two-day gathering was filled with meaningful conversations and engaging sessions. Alumni shared their experiences from diverse fields, sparking discussions on mentorship, placements, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future growth of the institute. These interactions not only helped strengthen alumni bonds but also offered valuable insights for students and the institution alike.

One of the most touching moments of the event was the unveiling of the Silver Jubilee Memoir of the 2001 batch. The memoir beautifully captured 25 years of shared memories, achievements, and the lasting connection alumni continue to have with NIT Hamirpur. For attendees, it was a powerful reminder of how far they had come while staying rooted in their alma mater.

The institute expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the event a success—alumni, faculty, students, staff, and organizers—whose collective efforts made the reunion truly memorable.

While the presence of so many alumni added to the joy of the occasion, the institute also acknowledged those who couldn’t attend due to personal or professional commitments. Their absence was deeply felt, and the message was clear—NIT Hamirpur remains a home for all its alumni, and there will always be opportunities to reconnect in the future.

The reunion wasn’t just about looking back; it was about strengthening a community that continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
