30 women learn entrepreneurship skills in Mashobra

A workshop on entrepreneurship development was organized at the Block Office, Mashobra, under the Himachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission. Thirty rural women entrepreneurs from the area participated in the three-day workshop. Lalita Kumari, the Women’s Social Education Organizer, presided over the closing ceremony.
He explained that the program’s objective was to encourage rural youth and entrepreneurs to establish self-reliant enterprises by providing them with practical information necessary for self-employment. He explained that during the training, participants were provided with various important information related to starting and successfully operating non-agricultural enterprises. He also provided information on designing a business, creating a business plan, understanding market needs, financial management, and arranging the necessary resources for the enterprise.
Lalita Kumar explained that participants were briefed on the process of obtaining a bank loan, the documents required for the loan, and the formalities associated with financial institutions. The training also emphasized identifying opportunities available at the rural level and transforming them into small and sustainable businesses. She gathered feedback from participants regarding the training and encouraged them to pursue self-employment.
He stated that small-scale enterprises can be started in rural areas by making better use of local resources and available opportunities. At the conclusion of the program, participants described the training as useful and an important initiative toward self-employment.
