5 lakh women between 18 to 50 yrs group in Himachal to get Rs 1500 per month under Indira Saman Rashi

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced to release of Rs 1500 per month to women between the age group of 18 years to 50 years under Indira Gandhi Samnan Rashi.

Addressing a press conference here today Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that he was earlier to make this announcement during the passing of the budget on February 28 but he deferred the decision to fulfill the fourth guarantee.

He said that all women between 50 to higher age group are already covered under the welfare pension scheme and he had announced the already cover rest of the women between the age group of 50 to 60 yrs by increasing the amount from Rs 1150 pm to Rs 1500 pm in the 2024-25 budget speech.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that five lakh women would fill up the form from the next financial year and Rs 100 Cr would have been provided in the state budget already.

He said that in the last 14 months, the government has fulfilled the three guarantee now.
