Water and garbage bills should be waived in Solan: DYFI

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) handed over a demand letter to the Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Solan, regarding the problems being faced by the general public in the city. It is worth mentioning that for a long time, DYFI has been trying to get publicity and public support by doing activities like signature campaign among the general public for some demands. In this episode, DYFI had decided that on May 4, a memorandum would be submitted to the Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Solan regarding these demands and efforts would be made to get these demands fulfilled at the earliest. Through this memorandum, the following demands were placed before the Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Solan:-

1.Water and garbage bills should be waived as promised to the general public at the time of municipal elections.

2. To get rid of the problem of heavy challan being deducted by the police in the city, proper parking arrangements should be made in the city.

3. Proper arrangement for cleanliness and water should be made in public toilets.4. The pits and drains dug at places in the common roads should be repaired soon.

5. Renovation work should be done for the children parks in the city and along with this, open gym should be arranged for the youth in these parks.6. Arrangement of gym should be made available by the Municipal Corporation for the youth in the city.In the coming times, DYFI will try to get these issues resolved by mobilizing the people of the city for these demands and putting pressure on the administration. On this occasion, India’s People’s Youth Assembly, District Convenor Rakesh Kumar, co-convenor Bhumit, Ankit, Vanshika, Raghav, Sanjay, Santosh and Sanjay Negi, etc. were present.
