Sukhu dedicates 31 development projects worth Rs. 475 crore for Ghumarwin

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu performed inaugurations and foundation stones of 31 development projects worth Rs. 475 crore  at Dadhol for Ghumarwin Assembly constituency of Bilaspur district today.

The Chief Minister inaugurated Rs. 4.56 crore retrofitting of LWSS Kot Dehra Hatwar in Ghumarwin constituency to provide functional household tap connection to left out households under JJM, Rs. 4.17 crore replacement of rusted and choked pipe in distribution of various water supply schemes under Ghumarwin constituency, Rs. 6.45 crore Skill Development Centre, Ghumarwin, Rs. 2.52 crore building of PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Bharari, Rs. 9.38 crore IPD Block building at Civil Hospital, Ghumarwin, Rs. 2.81 crore link road Barota Demehar Unda Mihara, Rs. 7.42 crore up-gradation of Ropri Mair Haritalyangar and Targhel Kursai Chharter Barota road, Rs. 1.85 crore link road from NH 103 to Bhagrwan,  Rs. 6.42 crore up-gradation of Targhel-Ladraur road and Rs. 72 crore repair of various roads under Ghumarwin constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that under Silk Samagra-2 Scheme, rupees 2.44 crore have been approved for farmers under various sericulture components in Ghumarwin Sub-division of Bilaspur district. Under the scheme 100 silkworm rearing houses have been approved for the area and a provision has been made to provide financial assistance of Rs. 1.85 lakh for each rearing house. He gave away cheques to 10 beneficiaries of the scheme on this occasion.
