Two dead after two-storey house collapses in Rajgarh village

Bhim Singh’s house suddenly collapsed in clear weather on Wednesday in Chhichhdian village, Didag Gram Panchayat, Rajgarh development block. According to Raj Kumar Thakur, SDM, Rajgarh, two women and two young girls were present at the time of the accident.

Upon receiving information about the accident, the local administration and police team arrived at the scene and began relief and rescue operations. Prior to this, local residents gathered and, after considerable effort, pulled all four people from the debris and transported them to Rajgarh Civil Hospital via 108 for treatment. However, two women died before reaching the Civil Hospital. The deceased women have been identified as Nirmala (60), wife of Bhim Singh, and Pooja (32), daughter of Bhim Singh. According to reports, the mother and daughter died in the accident, while two young girls, Ira (2 years old), daughter of Pooja, and Abhina (2 years old), daughter of Arun, were injured. Both are currently undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital. Postmortems were conducted for the deceased at Rajgarh Civil Hospital, and the bodies have been handed over to their families. On behalf of the administration, SDM Rajgarh Raj Kumar Thakur, Tehsildar Umesh Sharma, and Pradhan Ved Prakash Chauhan are present at the hospital. Former Assembly Speaker GR Musafir and MLA Reena Kashyap expressed grief over the accident. Immediate relief has been provided to the families of the deceased and the injured are undergoing treatment.
