132 girl students screened at Hb testing camp in Rajgarh College

A hemoglobin (Hb) testing camp was successfully organized at the Government College, Rajgarh, to promote health and nutrition awareness among female students. The camp was organized under the guidance of Dr. Shashi Kiran.

Students enthusiastically participated in this camp, held in the college’s girls’ common room. During the camp, a total of 132 students received free hemoglobin tests and were also provided with health cards.

On this occasion, the students were given detailed information about the symptoms, causes, and preventative measures of anemia. Dr. Shashi Kiran and other professors present advised the students to adopt a balanced and nutritious diet, saying that green leafy vegetables, jaggery, chickpeas, pulses, fruits, and other iron-rich foods should be included in the daily diet, so that the hemoglobin level in the body remains balanced.

The college administration and faculty applauded this important initiative for the health and well-being of the students, noting that a healthy body is the foundation for a better education and a bright future. They emphasized the need to organize similar health awareness programs in the future.

This camp proved to be a meaningful effort towards increasing health awareness among girl students and timely identification and prevention of problems like anemia.
