Ambulance roads will be built in rural areas : Vikramaditya Singh

The state government has introduced a special policy to strengthen road connectivity in rural areas. Under this policy, ambulance roads three kilometers long and three meters wide will be constructed in the future, which will facilitate the transportation of patients in rural areas to hospitals and the transportation of cash crops to farmers’ markets.
This information was given by the Public Works and Urban Development Minister while addressing the public meeting as the chief guest on the occasion of the closing of the two-day Shanol fair organized in Jhimidhar, a remote area of ​​Rajgarh development block.
He said that the Daul-Jhimidhar-Sarwa road will be approved under the second phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). Following approval, road construction work will commence soon. He also directed the concerned department to prepare a detailed project report (DPR).
The Minister stated that the Habban area is rich in natural beauty and offers immense potential for tourism development. The state government will develop the Habban area for tourism in the near future, providing direct and indirect employment opportunities for local residents.
He informed that an amount of ₹203 crore has been approved under CRIF for the upgradation of the Chhaila-Neripul-Yashwant Nagar road, and administrative approval has also been granted by the state government. Work on widening and paving this road will begin after the monsoon season. Three bridges, capable of carrying heavy vehicles, will also be constructed on this route.
Vikramaditya Singh said that 12 new roads have been approved to strengthen the road network in the Rajgarh area, but work is stalled due to the lack of a registry (deed) of private land in the department’s name. He urged people whose land is being used for road construction to have the land deed registered in the department’s name so that development work can be expedited.
Earlier, Om Singh Thakur, head of the Shanol Fair Committee, welcomed the chief guest and informed him of various problems facing the area. He demanded that the Daul-Jhimidhar-Sarwa road be included under the PMGSY, a veterinary dispensary be opened in Jhimidhar, the HRTC bus service, which has been suspended for the past year, be restored, and financial assistance be provided for the construction of a permanent roof on the fair stage. He announced a donation of 51,000 rupees to the fair committee.
On this occasion, former Assembly Speaker GR Musafir, Congress leader Dayal Pyari, District Congress President Anand Parmar, Pachhad Congress Committee President Sunil Sharma, Randhir Thakur, Manish Bhagnal, Dinesh Arya, Vivek Sharma, Atar Singh Thakur, senior officers of various departments and a large number of local people were present.
On reaching Jhimidhar, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh was given a traditional and warm welcome amidst the beats of drums.
