Hundreds of children practiced yoga at Peeran School on Yoga Day

On Sunday, International Yoga Day, at the Government Senior Secondary School, Peeran, children and teachers were led by teacher Sheela Sharma during a morning assembly. Sheela Sharma is a yoga teacher trained by Patanjali Yogapeeth.
Addressing the children on this occasion, Principal Rakesh Verma said that yoga makes the body healthy. To keep the body healthy, everyone should take some time out to practice yoga every day; only then can a healthy body be imagined. He said that International Yoga Day was started on June 21, 2015. The initiative to celebrate this day was taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, 2014, at the United Nations General Assembly, which received the support of 177 countries.
Rakesh Verma advised children to practice yoga every morning, which will increase their concentration and lay a strong foundation for their future. He also advised them to encourage everyone in their household to practice yoga, as a healthy family will lead to a healthy nation.
On this occasion, Office Superintendent S.R. Sharma, spokesperson Devinda Chauhan, Kalpana Sharma, Pooja Sarta, Sharda Verma, Manoj Sharma, Balwinder Thakur, Dinesh Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Sushma Sankhyan, Nisha Thakur, Indira Sharma, Chameli and Kevla also participated in the yoga practice program with the children.
