Various activities organised at Wublu School on Bag Free Day
Sneha was selected as the Head Girl and Yuvraj as the Head Boy
Various programs were organized at Government Senior Secondary School, WB, on the occasion of Bag-Free Day. Four houses were formed under the chairmanship of Principal Sangeeta Gupta, with the aim of developing leadership, discipline, hard work, and a sense of competition among the students. On this occasion, Sneha was elected head girl and Yuvraj was elected head boy. Kashish, Payal, Rohit, Sneha, Sujal, Kavya, Nikhil, Yogita were elected captain and vice captain. The Principal explained in detail the importance and responsibilities of forming houses.
Earlier, the school students organized a road safety rally, which the Principal flagged off for Wublu village. The Principal provided detailed information about road safety to the children. A representative from the Health Department also provided information on health, maintaining hygiene during menstruation, and eating a balanced diet.
Thereafter, the school children cleaned the school premises, collected plastic and other waste and managed it by setting it on fire.
All the teachers of the school including Sandeep Thakur, Kapil Dev Sharma, Jitendra Kumar, Virendra Singh, Vineeta Narwal, Rama Kumari, Anish Chandel, Gopal Dutt, Vikram Singh, Lekh Ram etc. were present in the program.
