Central Govt has given Rs 288.39 Cr to Himachal for disaster relief : Trilok Kapoor
Senior BJP State Spokesperson Trilok Kapoor expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the central government’s provision of ₹288.39 crore for disaster relief assistance to Himachal Pradesh. He said that the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has once again proven that it always stands with the state in the best interests of the people of Himachal Pradesh and in difficult circumstances.
Trilok Kapoor stated that the central government approved this amount without delay to assist Himachal Pradesh during the natural disasters of 2025. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always considered Himachal Pradesh his second home and has prioritized the state’s every need and provided assistance.
He said that whenever Himachal Pradesh has faced a natural disaster, the central government has supported the state with sensitivity and responsibility. This amount provided for disaster relief is proof that the central government understands the suffering of the state’s people and provides immediate assistance.
Targeting the Congress, Trilok Kapoor said that the state Congress government and its leaders are only shedding crocodile tears regarding disaster relief. He said that while the central government is continuously assisting Himachal, Congress leaders are not refraining from misleading the public and playing politics.
He said that the Congress party’s situation today has become such that the saying “The thief blames the police officer” is coming true. On one hand, the central government is providing every possible assistance to the state, while on the other hand, the Congress government is spreading false propaganda against the central government.
Trilok Kapoor said that BJP has always been committed to the interests of Himachal Pradesh and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government will continue to provide all necessary assistance to the state.
