A Personal Invitation for Collaboration

There have been some confusing claims circulating recently about the opposition’s absence from the important RDG presentation in Shimla. Himachal Govt believe it’s crucial to share the complete story directly with our citizens.

At the heart of this matter is a simple act of courtesy and respect. To ensure inclusive dialogue, the Honorable Chief Minister personally took the time to write a formal invitation letter to the Leader of the Opposition, extending a warm welcome to join the discussions. Himachal Govt was hopeful for a collaborative exchange of views on this critical issue of state revenue.

It is therefore disappointing that no representative from the opposition chose to attend. Govt has noticed reports suggesting the invitation was merely a routine note from an official, which misses the personal effort and protocol that was actually followed.
