Newly appointed State Congress President Vinay Kumar today paid a courtesy call to former All India Congress Committee President and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi and expressed his gratitude to him for giving him the important responsibility of the organization.
Both the leaders had a detailed discussion about the functioning of the organization in the state at his office in New Delhi and Rahul Gandhi congratulated him for this new important responsibility.
Vinay Kumar assured Rahul Gandhi that he would make every effort to live up to the trust he had placed in him.
Rahul Gandhi asked Vinay Kumar to work in complete coordination with the government and the organization and to work for the strengthening of the organization.
Meanwhile, Vinay Kumar today met senior leaders of the All India Congress Committee and sought their guidance regarding the functioning of the organization.
