Annual function jointly celebrated at Mashobra under cluster system

Under the cluster system initiated by the Education Department, the first joint annual prize distribution ceremony of the year 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mashobra. A large number of students from the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Government Central Primary School, Mashobra, Government Primary School, Dhanain, and Kuftu participated in this historic event.
Block Development Officer, Mashobra, Ankit Kotiya, attended the program as the chief guest. Deputy Director (Elementary Education), Shimla, Nisha Bhaluni, was the guest of honor. The program began with the lighting of lamps and a Saraswati Vandana recitation by the children.
In his address, Ankit Kotiya wished the students a bright future and announced that he would personally provide financial and educational assistance to ten needy students. He would also contribute necessary books to the school library.
Deputy Director Nisha Bhaluni, while throwing light on the necessity, objective and benefits of the cluster system, said that this model is an important step towards the quality of education, proper utilization of resources and collective development of schools.
Principal Dr. Anita Gupta welcomed the chief guest and presented the school’s annual report, which comprehensively outlined the school’s academic achievements, excellence, innovations, and future plans. Information about the seven-day NSS camp was also provided on this occasion.
All the school children who came to the program enthralled the audience by presenting cultural programs in beautiful costumes.
Students who excelled in various activities were honored at the ceremony. This grand ceremony left a special mark in the school’s history as a successful, meaningful, and inspiring introduction to the Education Department’s cluster system.
Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Chandrakanta, Gram Panchayat Mashobra’s Pradhan Gayatri Verma and Councilor Vishakha Modi along with teachers, parents and children from various schools were present in the program.
