New GPCC formed in Peeran Panchayat – 16 members included
To smoothly implement the development works of the Panchayats, a Gram Panchayat Coordination Committee was formed on Thursday in Gram Panchayat Peeran under the chairmanship of Pradhan Kiran Sharma. In which Daisy Raju Mentor Resource Person, Sunita Verma Mentor, Ranjana and Meera LRP were specially present. Kiran Sharma said that in addition to the Panchayat Pradhan as the Chairman, 16 government and non-government members have been made. The members of the committee include Deputy Pradhan Sandeep Mehta, Secretary Rajiv Thakur, Patwari Shubham Sharma, In-charge Animal Husbandry Department Harichand Sharma, Rahul Sharma from Education Department, BPM Hansraj Verma, Kamal Verma from AYUSH Department, Kuldeep from Jal Shakti Department, Gram Sangathan Pradhan Bimla Verma, Secretary Vidya Chauhan, Anganwadi Worker Gayatri Sharma, Asha Worker Suman, Anjana Kumari, Priya, Sulekha from Self Help Group have been made members.
Pradhan Kiran Sharma said that the objective of GPCC includes promoting development at the panchayat level, facilitating convergence, integration of schemes, community development, capacity building, stakeholder participation and other panchayat level works.
He told that after the formation of GPCC, a meeting was organized in which various development works were discussed. He told that the issue of water dominated the meeting in which there was no water tap in Khaltu, serious problem of water in lower Bagda, no water in the veterinary hospital for the last ten years, in addition to starting of Thund bus, discussions were also held.
