Weather Update: Himachal Pradesh to Experience Rain and Snowfall
Starting today, Himachal Pradesh is set to experience a significant change in weather. According to the Shimla Meteorological Department, a western disturbance will become active in the state from January 29. This means that from January 29 to February 3, the state can expect rain and snowfall. Farmers and orchardists have been eagerly waiting for this, as the lack of rain has caused crops to dry up and insufficient snowfall has significantly affected fruit production. This month, too, the expected rain and snowfall have not occurred, directly impacting agriculture and horticulture.
Rain and Snowfall Expected on These Days
The Shimla Meteorological Department has forecasted rain and snowfall in the high-altitude and mid-mountainous areas of the state from January 29 to 30. On January 31 and February 1, rain and snowfall are expected in the high-altitude and mid-mountainous areas, while rain is likely in the lower and plain areas. Additionally, rain and snowfall may occur in the high-altitude areas of the state on February 2 and 3. The spell of rain and snowfall is set to begin in the state from today.
