Yellow Alert Issued for Mandi District: Rain, Strong Winds, and Lightning Expected
The India Meteorological Centre in Shimla has issued a yellow warning for rain, strong winds, and lightning in many parts of Mandi district from July 20 to July 21, 2024. A yellow warning has also been issued for July 22. In light of these warnings, the district administration urges residents and tourists to avoid traveling to upper hilly areas to ensure their safety. Despite repeated warnings, some individuals continue to visit these areas, putting their lives at risk.
Citizens and tourists are advised to stay away from river drains, landslide-prone areas, and high altitudes. It is crucial to remain in safe locations within your homes and not take any unnecessary risks.
