Workshop on “Opportunities and Mechanisms of Scientific Cooperation and Higher Education with European Union, France, and CNRS” organized at AIIMS Bilaspur

The workshop titled “Opportunities and Mechanisms of Scientific Cooperation and Higher Education with the European Union, France, and CNRS” was held at AIIMS Bilaspur (H.P.) on 31st August 2024, under the guidance of Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Vir Singh Negi. Esteemed speakers, such as Mr. Pierrick Fillon-Ashida, First Counsellor for Research & Innovation at the E.U. Delegation to India, and Dr. Srinivas V. Kaveri, Director of the CNRS Bureau in India, Embassy of France, New Delhi, discussed key initiatives like Horizon Europe and the importance of strategic partnerships in tackling global challenges. Dr. Vivek Dham, Advisor for Research & Innovation at the E.U. Delegation to India, highlighted the significance of EU-India collaboration in advancing health research. Faculty, scientists, and researchers from AIIMS Bilaspur, IIIT Una, HP Technical University Hamirpur, CSIR-IHBT Palampur, IIM Sirmour, and H.P. Agricultural University Palampur actively engaged in the interactive sessions. Various opportunities for international collaboration, research funding, and educational exchange between India and Europe were explored.
