Women reservation bill will become a milestone for developed India : Kangana
BJP Mandi Lok Sabha candidate Kangana Ranaut participated in a dozen programs of Sarkaghat Assembly during her election campaign today. He said that the Narendra Modi government at the Center has launched many schemes to help women’s participation in the development of the country. Recently, both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha passed the Women’s Reservation Bill 2023 (128th Constitutional Amendment Bill) or Nari Shakti Vandan Act. This bill reserves one-third of the seats for women in the Lok Sabha, State Assemblies and Delhi Assembly. The Women’s Reservation Bill will ensure that half of the population is adequately represented in Parliament. Participation of women in the political field will ensure that they are receptive to women’s issues and are empowered. Numerous schemes like Mahila Coir Scheme, Mahila Samriddhi Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandan Scheme, Standup India Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Scheme, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Free Sewing Machine Scheme, Mahila Shakti Kendra Scheme, Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme, Mudra Loan Scheme have been launched to further strengthen women’s prosperity and maternal power, so that the contribution of women will also increase in nation building.
