Minor rape cases: Four accused convict by FTC booked in Himachal
Himachal Pradesh Police claimed today that fast track courts at Nalagarh of Dolan district, Nahan in Sirmaur and Mandi convicted four different accuseds booked in each rape of minor cases and sentencing them during last week. Spokesperson of state police said that during last week four case of POCSO Act decided by the FTCs which ended in conviction. In a Case( FIR No. 02/2016) registered on Nov 19, 2016 under section 363,366,376 IPC & Section 6 POCSO Act and section 3 ( 1 ) 12 SC & ST Act was registered in woman police station Baddi against accused Sahajad Ali , of RM Rauf Enterprises Company , Baddi . In this case charge sheet was presented before Court of JMIC – II Nalagarh on March 20, 2017 . Court of FTC Solan convicted the accused on July 13, 2022 to under go five years imprisonment and fine Rs 1,000 / – . In another Case (FIR No. 21/2018 ) registered on May 1, 2018 , U / S 376 , 342 IPC & section 4 POCSO Act in Police Station Pachhad , District Sirmour against accused Karam Chand of Baddachakli , PO Tillari Kuthar Tehsil Pachhad District Sirmour . In this case, the charge sheet was presented before the Court of Additional District Judge Nahan on June 26, 2018. Additional District Judge ( FTC ) Nahan vide judgement of July 14, 2022 has convicted the accused person with 20 years rigorous imprisonment and with fine Rs 10,000 / In 3rd case( FIR No. 37/2018) registered on Feb 06, 2018, under section 363, 376 & 4 POCSO Act registered at Police Station Sadar Mandi . In this case charge sheet was presented before the Special Fast Track (POCSO) on May 4, 2018 against accused Sushil Kumar. Special Fast Track ( POCSO ) vide judgement on July 11, 2022 has convicted the accused person with ten years of imprisonment and fine Rs 10,000 / . 4th case (FIR No. 35/21) registered on March 16, 2021 undet section 376,506 IPC & 4 POSCO Act registered at Police Station Karsog , District Mandi against Gurdev Sinhg of Mahog , Tehsil Karsog . In this case charge sheet was presented before the Special Fast Track (POCSO) Court Mandi on May 14, 2021. POSCO Court vide judgement on July 11, 2022 has convicted the accused person with 10 years imprisonment and fine Rs 10,000 /.
