Will make Mandi an ideal parliamentary constituency of the country: Vikramaditya Singh
Congress candidate from Mandi parliamentary constituency, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has said that to make Mandi parliamentary constituency an ideal parliamentary constituency of the country, the basic facilities of the people will be expanded here. He has said that the Congress government of the state is completely strong and stable and will complete its tenure.
Today, while addressing his election rally in Chhatri, Gadhagusain and Thata (Ghanyar) under Seraj assembly constituency of Mandi district, Vikramaditya Singh said that Seraj area is famous for fruit and vegetable production. The state government has given huge relief to farmers and gardeners by restoring subsidy on insecticides and fungicides. Animal farmers have also been given relief by increasing the support price of milk. Universal cartons have been made mandatory for packing apples. He said that after becoming MP, he will raise the issue in Parliament to increase the import duty of apples.
Vikramaditya Singh said that his father, Late Virbhadra Singh, the six-time Chief Minister of the state, gave the pace to the development of the state, now he will further accelerate that pace by going to the Centre. He said that giving smart city status to Mandi, opening nursing college and opening medical college in Rampur are his main priorities. Tourism will be promoted in this area so that the unemployed in the area get employment opportunities at their doorstep.
Vikramaditya Singh said that in Mandi he is facing a BJP candidate who neither has any knowledge of history nor of this parliamentary constituency. She reads the script written by her director. He challenged Kangana that if she has the courage, she should counter with him in the open forum on the Seri stage of Mandi regarding the vision of development of the area. She said that she is standing in the election field by praising the Prime Minister. She said that she cannot mislead the people of Mandi.
Vikramaditya Singh said that Kangana has become like a bone in the neck of former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, who is neither being swallowed nor suffocated by him. He asked Jairam Thakur to tell whether he was in favor or against the Women’s Honor Fund. He said that a similar scheme for women is running in BJP ruled Madhya Pradesh but BJP is opposing it in the state. He said that the state government is fully committed towards the empowerment of women and after June 6, full benefits of Samman Nidhi Scheme will be provided to all the eligible women in the state.
Vikramaditya Singh called upon the people to make him victorious with huge votes and send him to Delhi. He will go to the Center and rise above any party politics and strengthen the voice for the overall development of the state.
