PM Modi’s Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana will give new flight to daughters: Rajiv Bhardwaj

To provide security to the future of daughters, Prime Minister Modi launched schemes from time to time, the benefits of which are being availed by every girl and mother and sister of the country and the state. Kangra parliamentary constituency candidate Rajeev Bhardwaj, while addressing a program in Jwalaji, said that Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22, 2015, ‘Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana’ (SSY) for developed India. It is a visionary initiative for the financial empowerment of women in India.

He said that this scheme stands as a golden opportunity for a bright future. This scheme and deposit launched by the Finance Ministry acts as an open sky for the dreams of daughters when the time comes. Through this scheme, SSY schemes are available in post offices and commercial bank branches. The account provides strength to parents who aspire to better education and marriage for their daughters’ future.

This account lets parents start saving money for their daughter’s future by adding money from childhood and maturing in 21 years, offering tax-free benefits.

Rajeev Bhardwaj said that is a cherished assurance promoting a promising future for the daughters of ‘Developed India’. In this, the minimum investment can be Rs 250 per year and the maximum investment can be Rs 1,50,000 per year. This scheme will be launched under SSY in 2023. Provided the highest interest rate of 8 percent. I would like to point out that in the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, principal, interest, and maturity benefits are tax-free under Section 80C. At the age of 18, up to 50 percent of the investment can be withdrawn prematurely.
