The promise of 300 units of electricity made by Congress has now remained a dream.
Bindal said that the Congress government has now brought even water under the influence of inflation. Free water supply to people in villages has been stopped, this is an anti-people government of Congress. Now water bills will have to be paid in the rural areas of Himachal, people will not get it for free in the state. Now people will be charged Rs. 100 per connection every month for water. Apart from this, now people will have to submit an income certificate of Rs. 50,000, who will issue this certificate and who will collect it. 17 lakh consumers drinking water from 10,000 drinking water schemes in rural areas will have to pay for the water. The state government has put a burden of around Rs. 856 crores in rural areas every year.
He said that the government has burdened the public by increasing the price of mustard oil by Rs 13 in the depots. Mustard oil available in cheap ration depots across the state has become expensive. Ration card holders will have to pay Rs 13 more for mustard oil, which will directly affect 19.5 lakh ration card holders of the state.
Bindal said that 1500 institutions, schools, Sahara Yojana, Him Care, Shagun Yojana, Swabhalamban Yojana have been made lifeless by the Congress government in Himachal. Funds are not being managed for all these schemes due to which the benefits being provided to all sections of Himachal have been stopped.
