Vinay Kumar has questioned BJP for failing to pay employee liabilities of over ₹12,000 Cr during Jai Ram’s tenure
State Congress President Vinay Kumar has questioned the BJP for failing to pay employee liabilities of over ₹12,000 crore during Jai Ram Thakur’s tenure. He questioned why this injustice was inflicted on employees. He questioned the extent of the announcements made during the BJP’s tenure in Bilaspur, where the Prime Minister was the chief guest, to establish large industrial units in the state. Major industrialists from India and abroad attended the event, and the cost of crores of rupees wasted on the state’s treasury, with the dome alone costing over ₹50 lakh. He questioned how much of the state’s industrial development was accelerated by this wasteful expenditure during the BJP’s tenure.
Vinay Kumar criticized state BJP president Rajeev Bindal for his statement today, saying that the former BJP government left no stone unturned in plunging the state into debt. Due to economic mismanagement, the state is currently mired in massive debt. He added that the people of the state have not forgotten how the former BJP government misused government machinery and power. It is unbecoming of leaders of a party who exploited the COVID-19 crisis to commit fraud and, as a result, lost their positions under intense public pressure, to level false allegations against the state’s Congress government. He stated that the state is fighting for its rights and is receiving full support from the people.
